Blending of cultures is a beautiful thing, and the “Fromage and Proscuitto Ramen” is definitely one of them The chicken broth was light, but the fresh cheese had that subtle, moldy-cheese-esque kick that blended very well together (as did the saltiness of the prosciutto). It comes with zakkokumai rice for your own DIY risotto in the end They have other very intriguing ramens there too, so keen to try something else when I happen to pass by next time :) Gochisousama deshita!

Just passed by this restaurant and impressed by the ramen right before shop closed. In such cold and wet night, the noodles resort my tiredness. Noodle mixed with Italain pasta element creations. The soup also is not too salty and tastes great 店員主動來關心是否需要幫忙 surprisingly found these are branches in Taipei! Will definitely go checking on it.

The owner of Due Italian is an accomplished and experienced chef who has had a string of successful restaurants. According to his homepage profile, the had a revelation about ramen. He wanted to make ramen that is delicate and suitable for the consumption of everyone from young children to the elderly. Ramen Due Italian was a result of his sudden fascination with ramen. Due Italian has quite a few items on their menu. There are several staple ramen classics such as the shio ramen and shoyu ramen but the rest of the items have a rather unusual twist of Italian influence such as fromage ramen, lemon ramen, cold tomato ramen, white ramen (topped with parma ham), foie gras radish ramen and persimmon vinegar tsukemen. The shio ramen and their rather unique version of tomato ramen caught my eye right away and I could not resist ordering both during my first visit! First the shio ramen. This is almost as good as it gets. The soup is delicate yet flavorful, and the charsiu and egg cooked to perfection. The charsiu is tender with a sliver of of fat (they probably put some effort towards trimming down the fat on the pork belly), lightly charred on the exterior to give it a smoky accent. The egg yolk is creamy and the egg white had been sitting in the marinade broth for the right amount of time. The crisp garlic bits is a nice aromatic touch. The cold tomato ramen looks amazing, the sauce is bright red and the cold noodles and sauce are further topped with a load of sweet mini cherry tomatoes. The result? It is tasty, in the same way that a salad is tasty but at the same time I find myself clamoring for something more substantial. Ramen should be satisfying, it should not make one feel like it is merely a prelude to something else. I prefer Taiyo no Tomato Men‘s signature tomato ramen. However that is their forte and what they are famous for. When time permits, I shall definitely make my way back there to sample all the other menu items.

Cheesy ramen?? It seemed like a strange combination but I was too curious not to come and try it. Ended up being one of the most delicious ramen dishes I’ve had, and certainly the most unique. The cheese is warm and melts together with the noodles perfectly, and the ham is a perfect compliment. Drinking the cheesy soup at the end was almost as good as the noodles itself. The only downside of the meal was the egg, which was a bit overcooked in my opinion and lost its runniness. However, over a five star meal for amazing flavor and creativity!

Pretty good! I'd read the review saying lemon ramen was "to die for" so I came over to try it myself. A good twist on the lighter shio (salt) ramen, though I'll admit I'm more into richer styles. It has a hint of spice to it (ピリ辛), and the freshness of rocket (arugula) piled high on a lean slice of chashu is good. The citrus kick is less pungent here than at famous Afuri, but there was no waiting in line to get in. Very good for a quick bite with a difference near Ichigaya Station I would go back again, if I'm in the area, to try the "ramen fromage" that they are famous for. I saw the sign outside says it's listed for 3 years in the Michelin guide, but, I think I should've tried the "人気No.1" recommended dish to find out why.

It's special but not typical. The ramen is cooked by Italian way, reflecting the name of the restaurant. The soup is amazing. I would say it's very delicious and worth to give it a try. But it's just not a typical ramen in my mind.

Very good! I’ve walked past this place every day for a year and finally stopped in, kicking myself for not going sooner. I got the Fromage-Cheese Ramen and throughly enjoyed it. Creamy and savory. And at the end the give you rice to add to the broth and it was surprisingly good. The gyoza weren’t great though, so I would skip those.
